Red Havas Global CEO James Wright has been named to the class of 2023 PRNEWS People of the Year in the The Agency CEOs category. He is one of four innovative agency leaders who are being honored for driving indelible progress and growth for their firms—and the industry. Fellow honorees include Amy Binder of RF|Binder, Andrew Freeman of af&co. and Curtis Sparrer of Bospar.

James Wright has forever changed perceptions of what PR can be. After piloting the “merged media” model while leading the highly decorated Red Agency in Australia and APAC, he parlayed it into a global positioning for Red Havas, now the largest micronetwork in the Havas PR Global Collective, operating in 14 markets around the world with 370+ staff.  

His successes as global chairman of the Global Collective (ranked #19 in PR Week’s 2023 Agency Business Report) and global CEO of Red Havas (which has experienced exponential growth) recently led to his expanded role as CEO of the Havas Creative Network.
