NEW APPOINTMENT TO STRATEGICALLY SUPPORT OPERATIONS ACROSS THE AGENCY’S GROWING GLOBAL FOOTPRINT

NEW YORK — Today, HAVAS Red Group, the global merged media agency micronetwork within the HAVAS PR Network, announced the elevation of EVP Linda Descano, CFA^®, to the role of Global Chief Integration & Marketing Officer. The newly created position will support the agency’s strategic growth and agency operations across the 18 markets in which it operates.  

Linda is responsible for the coordination, management and onboarding of new markets across the HAVAS Red Network. Linda also will oversee global marketing efforts for the HAVAS Red Network as the agency continues to lift its profile and stay at the forefront of global communication issues. 

The announcement comes on the heels of exponential success for HAVAS Red since its formation in May 2019. Over the past four years, HAVAS Red has grown to 700-plus communications specialists working across 18 markets, including Australia, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Ivory Coast, the Middle East, the Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, the U.K., the U.S., as well as Vietnam. Further markets are set to be announced in the second half of 2024. 

The agency was named Campaign’s Global PR Network of the Year in 2023, PR News U.S. Agency of the Year 2022 at its Platinum Awards and Provoke Media’s Mid-sized Agency of the Year 2024 for EMEA at its Sabre Awards.
