NEW ROLE REFLECTS CONTINUED GROWTH OF HAVAS RED GROUP

LONDON — PR and integrated communications agency, Havas Red, has promoted U.K. CEO Rachael Sansom to CEO, Europe and U.K., effective immediately. The new role has been created to bring enhanced governance and focus to the region as the Havas Red Group continues to grow at pace both within Europe and globally, currently encompassing nine offices in Europe and 23 worldwide.

Sansom joined Havas Red in 2019 as MD and was promoted to CEO of the UK in June 2022. In this new role, Sansom will continue to report into James Wright, global CEO of Havas Red and global chairman of the Havas PR Network.

Of the newly created European CEO role, Sansom said, “As the region continues to grow in terms of its commercials, reach and profile, I am really excited to be working with our teams across Europe to see how we can further build out the Havas Red offering through innovation and new propositions. We have a stellar client base in Europe, and we want to continue to build and strengthen that.”

Global CEO of Havas Red James Wright said, “As we continue to attract more iconic brands in Europe and globally, it is important to ensure that we have greater operational governance to focus on our continued trajectory and maximize the opportunities we have in front of us now and those in the future. Strategically, to have someone of Rachael’s skills, experience and passion to lead this next chapter in our development makes perfect sense.”

This year marks another period of strong performance for Havas Red, which was recently named by Campaign as Global PR Network of the Year 2023, awarded a Gold Stevie International Business Award for PR Agency of the Year and picked up the Havas BOLD award as their network’s Agency of the Year.

The agency’s roster of clients includes American Express, Jaguar Land Rover, Galderma, Toyota, ManpowerGroup, Sanofi, Galderma, adidas, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, UNICEF and Project HOPE, among others.
