STEVENS WILL CONTINUE TO OVERSEE UK CREATIVE AT THE FAST-GROWING GLOBAL NETWORK, WHICH NOW HAS NINE OFFICES ACROSS EUROPE
LONDON — Havas Red has promoted UK Executive Creative Director Andrew Stevens to the newly-created role of Executive Creative Director, UK and Europe.
The role has been created to further strengthen and capitalise upon Havas Red’s investment in building world-class creative capability.
Andrew’s remit will be to work with Havas Red teams and talent in Europe to strengthen its creative output with existing clients and deliver regional new business pitches, through cutting edge creative with earned-first thinking at the heart.
Rachael Sansom, Chief Executive Officer, UK and Europe, said: “Andrew is not just a brilliant creative mind, but he also has superpowers in collaboration and teamwork. Andrew’s appointment reflects our understanding of the importance of earned-first creativity – for clients and new business. We want our creative output to be a key differentiator across Europe.
The Havas Red group continues to grow globally, with 23 offices worldwide. It currently has nine offices in Europe, in Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Manchester, London, Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Paris.
Stevens joined Havas Red in 2019 as the UK’s Creative Director and was promoted to Executive Creative Director in 2022. In his new role, Stevens will continue to report into Rachael Sansom, CEO UK & Europe.
Of his new role, Stevens said: “The Havas Red European network is filled with creative talent and continues to grow at a rapid pace. My role will be to work with European offices to help further drive creativity and leverage our network’s creative talent and credentials across the board.
Havas Red’s client roster includes American Express, Jaguar Land Rover, Galderma, Toyota, ManpowerGroup, Sanofi, Galderma, adidas, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, UNICEF and Project HOPE, among others.
Earlier this year, Havas Red announced an expansion to South Africa and launched two specialized global offerings: SWAY, which focuses on influencer partnerships, and Peaks, a multichannel executive branding support program. Other global offerings include Red Impact, which focuses on ESG and sustainability; Havas Red Health, which spans supporting Rx to OTC in the health & wellness space; and Red Connect, the agency’s full-service content marketing practice.
