Making Badoo the go-to dating app for singletons

The Challenge

Badoo strives to make dating less complicated and more fun, so they tasked us to raise awareness, for both the UK and Spanish markets, in a fun and engaging way that highlights Badoo truly being the home of real dating.

The Solution

We hijacked the hugely popular ‘if you like’ trend on TikTok as it was based purely on people’s aesthetic ‘likes’ and naturally tapped into not only Badoo’s authenticity messaging, but also the brand’s sense of fun. We selected 5 famous single TikTok creators from each market who we then worked closely with to create authentic and hilarious content that showcased their uniqueness and all-important dateability. From loving hot sauce with fries to sometimes singing in the shower fully clothed, the TikTok creators’ content demonstrated real people wanting to go on real dates with likeminded singletons and that Badoo was the only place to find each other.

Working with our Barcelona office, and hubbed out of the UK, we carefully selected a diverse range of TikTok singletons who had the right audience demographic but also sense of fun with highly engaging content with strong view rates.
